Alergy on Eye

Like other reaction of alergy, eye alergy happen cause eye react to something that irritates them (allergen), then the eye produce a substance called histamine to fight the allergen. As a result they eye conjunctiva, the thin filmy membrane that covers the inside the eyelids and white part of eye (sclera) become red, swollen and itchy, with tearing and burning. Eye allergy can cause of environmental triggers, such as pet dander, dust, smoke, perfumes, or even foods. If the exposure continue, the allergies can be more severe, with significant burning and itching and even sensitivity to light.

The alergy symptom like; red, swollen or itchy eyes, burning or tearing of eyes, sensitivity to light. If the allergy accompanied by nasal allergy, you may also experience a stuffy, itchy nose and sneezing, as well as a headache, an itchy or sore throat or coughing.

Usually allergy can treat by antihistamine, but for accute allergy better to go to the doctor in order get right medication. By using injection drug, allergy can medication vastly, this also use if the allergy already accute.
