Dark Circle Under the Eyes

Dark circles can be caused by a food intolerance, mainly to wheat, or by an underactive thyroid. The obvious cause is lack of sleep, but if this problem continues then the adrenal glands become exhausted, which can further darken the eyes.

Food to Avoid:
  • Cut down on alcohol and salt drink plenty of water to flush toxins from the body.
  • If you are sleeping well but still have circles after three or four good night sleep, then eliminate wheat for four days and see if this helps. Try eliminating cows milk. These are the most common triggers.
Friendly Foods:
Drink plenty of water to eliminate toxin and generally eat a clean diet, avoiding too much refined food and sugar.

  • Look for a formula with bilbery extract, antioxidants (vitamin A, E dan C, plus solenium potassium, graposeed, ginkgo bilboa, lycopene and chromium.
